Unitarian Universalist Association (UUA)

We are brave, curious, and compassionate thinkers and doers. We are diverse in faith, ethnicity, history and spirituality, but aligned in our desire to make a difference for the good. We have a track record of standing on the side of love, justice, and peace. We have radical roots and a history as self-motivated spiritual people: we think for ourselves and recognize that life experience influences our beliefs more than anything. We need not think alike to love alike. Our web address is:

Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Venice (UUCOV)

The Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Venice is a spiritual home that provides programs, services and facilities to support and strengthen our dynamic, caring community. We value challenges that enhance our quest for meaning and purpose in life. We affirm our responsibility to: strengthen our UUCOV community, spread the message of Unitarian Universalism, develop greater intergenerational and cultural diversity, promote leadership for environmental stewardship, and promote a fair, just and peaceful world.

Unitarian Universalist Justice Florida (UUJF)

Unitarian Universalist Justice Florida is a statewide justice ministry for members of 45 Unitarian Universalist congregations in Florida and their social justice committees in partnership with other interfaith and public interest organizations to promote justice, equity and compassion in public policy.

We focus on a limited number of core issues each year to educate, organize and advocate for policies consistent with and supportive of Unitarian Universalist values. We build coalitions with other like minded groups to educate ourselves and the public on critical issues of our day and the tools and skills of civic engagement.

Our goal is to realize the dream of a just society, an improved global community and a sustainable earth, starting in Florida.

Unitarian Universalists of Sarasota (UUS)

Here we affirm and promote reason and the scientific method as the tools in learning to love each other and live in harmony with the earth. We have no creed, but we do strongly encourage everyone to treat each other with respect. We affirm and promote the inherent worth and dignity of every person.  We are a Welcoming Congregation, celebrating and affirming the active presence here of gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender and heterosexual members and friends, and their families.  We are a Green Congregation, promoting respect for the interdependent web of all existence. Here we aspire to be a multi-generational and multi-cultural community, known for advancing justice, where all persons can find belonging, spiritual growth, and support on life’s journey.

Venice Interfaith Community Association (VICA)

Founded in 2004, the Venice Interfaith Community Association was born from the observation that our community was expanding not only in size but in diversity. We are a people of various faith traditions, belief systems, and world views. When diverse individuals and organizations coordinate their efforts, they can be a powerful force for community betterment, mutual understanding and respect.

The mission of the Venice Interfaith Community Association is to foster cooperation, respect and understanding among people of different faith, ethnic and cultural traditions.

We publicize our events and programs through our newsletter Together in Faith, our website and other media outlets. Events and news from our institutional members are also featured in our newsletter and website.

Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Charlotte County (UUFCC)

We gather as a spiritual community that changes lives because we want to explore what matters most in our own and each other's livers. We are called to better ourselves by acquiring more wisdom, connecting with others, and showing more compassion.

We care for our community, both within and beyond our congregation, by volunteering and working for justice. We live our faith by doing. We know that active, tangible expressions of love, justice, and peace that go beyond individual belief systems are what create positive change in people and in the world.

Our UU community includes people of many beliefs who share values of peace, love, and understanding.
