Right to Read Festival:
All Books for All People

Florida has the unhappy distinction of being the state with the most banned books of any state. The Festival will counteract this censorship overreach.

Our vision is a day of joy and celebration – creating a safe space for all people to celebrate authors, speakers, books and reading.

We are creating a comfortable venue for all attendees to listen to authors of books and speakers, learn about the issues surrounding Florida’s decision to remove books from school and library shelves, choose a free banned book and learn about the banning of books from schools and libraries, eat yummy food, let your children have some fun, etc.
